This Page means to answer some of the FAQs

How different is it from other wing chun?

In our perspective our style is completely different from other Wing Chun Styles taught out there. Snake and Crane style of Wing Chun, places greater emphasis on training on the sensitivity of the hand and having different standing hand techniques.

However Snake and Crane can draw a parallel to other styles of Wing Chun in terms of lineage, stemming  from Yuen Ka Shan, Ip Man, Gu Lo Pok Fhan, etc.. to name a few notables.

Is this a useful Martial arts as we compare it to others?

It depends, but what we can say that "different martial arts have different training methods". Since Wing Chun was developed for a Woman to defend herself from a man. Wing Chun in its inception requires less effort to defend one self from a attacker.

One thing can be said of Wing Chun  one of our core training methods is "on moving the hand and stands".

How long does it take to finish the style

I would say it takes average three to four years to learn the moves "if a the person actually take time to practice". Add another three years to develop a deeper understanding of the style and for most of the exercises.

But learning Wing Chun "is a lifetime process "

Is that only for men or at 20 to 30s

It is not, it can be for both male and female and for kids, adults and elders. It is meant for different ages as it can be really fast or can be slow depends how you train it.

Is one week a class enough?

As of now we have only a once a week class. However, private class is also available at 55 dollars an hour by appointment. In the future we might able to add more classes as more people sign up. Future class is considered to be holding on Wednesday if the class size keep growing.
